Trolls are hostile mobs that have the ability to throw blocks at the player. They are much bigger than a player, and can take more damage than most mobs. They can also throw Magma Cubes and Slimes if present which which will damage you depending on their size.
Combat[]
It is difficult to battle a Troll, but a hit and run strategy should be able to kill them. Using a Baseball Bat, you can deflect the blocks thrown by them. Having a Golden Shovel if you are battling a Troll in an area of dirt, sand or grass is a good idea as it would destroy the blocks thrown by trolls in 0.1 seconds. Also, it is common to find Endermen wherever there are Trolls, so making them provoke Endermen is a good idea, especially if on Hard as they would deal of damage per hit.
